How it works
A clear job flow protects both sides. Once payment through GoCheck opens (coming soon), the renter never pays for nothing, and the checker knows the money is secured before travelling.
- 1
Renter posts a request
Location, listing link, details, special instructions and a preferred date or date range.
- 2
First to accept
Available checkers in the area see the request, and the first to accept it takes the job. Or the renter browses profiles and invites one directly. Only checkers free on that date are shown.
- 3
Booked
The renter sees who took the job, with their ratings, completed task count and reviews.
Payment held (coming soon)
Once payment opens, the renter pays into GoCheck and the money is held, not released. The date is locked into both calendars.
- 5
Scheduling confirmed
The checker arranges the time with the property owner and can propose a new slot if the landlord isn't available. The renter confirms or declines.
- 6
Reminder
Both sides are notified before the visit.
- 7
Visit and report
The checker attends, answers live chat questions and submits the full report.
- 8
Review and release
The renter accepts the report, and the checker's completed-task count increases. Once payment opens, that's when the checker is paid.
- 9
Reviews
Both sides rate each other. Reviews are published simultaneously.
Scheduling & availability
Checkers set availability
- A regular weekly pattern, e.g. Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00
- Blocked dates for holidays or other work
- Half days or individual slots, not only whole days
- A maximum number of jobs per day
Renters pick a date
- A preferred date and a time slot: morning, afternoon or a specific hour
- Or mark the request flexible: any date in a range
- Only checkers available on that date are shown
Rescheduling & cancellation
- Either side can request a change before the visit
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the visit starts; after that, only through GoCheck support, and 30% of the fee is retained
- Late cancellations and no-shows by the checker count against their reliability score
Reviews & reputation
Renter reviews the checker
Scores are broken into categories so they carry real meaning:
- Thoroughness of the report
- Photo and video quality
- Communication
- Punctuality
Checker reviews the renter
Checkers rate renters on clarity of instructions and responsiveness, so other checkers know what to expect.
Both reviews are published at the same time, so neither side writes theirs in reaction to the other. Only renters who paid for and completed a job can leave a review.
